We like to use this as a reel case for fly reels, conventional reels, and spinning reels. We find that this case fits 4 to 6 "saltwater size" 9-12 weight fly reels comfortably, and can hold 6 to 8 "freshwater" fly reels in the 2 to 7 weight range.
